Anne Boyd Rioux is the author of Constance Fenimore Woolson: Portrait of a Lady Novelist, a biography of another woman overshadowed by a famous man, Henry James. It will be published by W. W. Norton on February 29 2016 with a collection of Woolson’s fiction, Miss Grief and Other Stories, which includes a forward by the novelist Colm Toibin.
