Duncan Wheeler is Associate Professor in Spanish Studies at the University of Leeds, and Visiting Fellow of St Catherine’s College, Oxford. He is editor for Hispanic Studies of the Modern Language Review, and Series Editor of Spanish Golden Age Studies for Peter Lang International Publishers. His single-authored monographs include Golden Age Drama in Contemporary Spain (2012). The author of over 30 peer-reviewed articles and book-chapters, his next book, The Cultural Politics of Spain’s Transition to Democracy, will appear in 2016. A published translator, Duncan also writes regularly for newspapers and cultural supplements such as Jot Down, The Huffington Post, Newsweek, The Observer, and The Times Literary Supplement.
