Andrew Epstein is a professor of English at Florida State University, and is the author of Attention Equals Life: The Pursuit of the Everyday in Contemporary Poetry and Culture (Oxford University Press) and Beautiful Enemies: Friendship and Postwar American Poetry (Oxford University Press). His work has recently appeared in the New York Times Book Review, Contemporary Literature, American Literary History, Comparative Literature Studies, Wallace Stevens Journal, and Jacket2, and he blogs about the New York School of poetry at Locus Solus.
