Andrea Jurjević

Andrea Jurjević was born and raised in the Croatian port town of Rijeka, in former Yugoslavia. She is the author of Small Crimes (2017), winner of the 2015 Philip Levine Prize for Poetry, and Nightcall (2021), which was selected for the ACME Surrealist Poetry Series by Willow Springs Books. Her book-length translations from Croatian include Olja Savičević’s Mamasafari (Diálogos Press, 2018) and Marko Pogačar’s Dead Letter Office (The Word Works, 2020).
