Alexis Dudden

Alexis Dudden is professor of history at the University of Connecticut. She has written extensively about Japan and Northeast Asia, publishing in Dissent, The Diplomat, and the Huffington Post among other venues. Her books include Troubled Apologies Among Japan, Korea, and the United States and Japan’s Colonization of Korea, and she is currently a visiting research fellow at Princeton University writing a book about Japan’s territorial disputes and the changing meaning of islands in international law.
