Michelle Huneven

Michelle Huneven is a senior fiction editor at the Los Angeles Review of Books and a novelist. She received an MFA at the Iowa Writers’ Workshop. Her novels include Round Rock (Knopf, 1997), Jamesland (Knopf, 2003), and Blame (Sarah Crichton Books, FSG, 2009), a finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Award. Her latest is Off Course, from Sarah Crichton Books, FSG. Michelle has received a GE Younger Writers Award and a Whiting Award for Fiction. She teaches creative writing at UCLA and lives with her husband, dog, cat, and African Grey Parrot in the town where she was born.
