Megan Black is an assistant professor of International History at the London School of Economics. She is the author of The Global Interior: Mineral Frontiers and American Power (Harvard 2018), which won the 2019 British Association for American Studies Book Prize. Her writing has also appeared in n+1, American Quarterly, and Diplomatic History.
