Erle Stanley Gardner was an American author of courtroom dramas and mysteries. He was the creator of the Perry Mason series, which was made into a long-running TV show during the 1950s and 1960s. He published well over a hundred novels under numerous pseudonyms, including most famously A. A. Fair.
