Davide Panagia is professor of Political Science at the University of California, Los Angeles, and the author of The Political Life of Sensation, The Poetics of Political Thinking, and Rancière’s Sentiments, all published by Duke University Press, as well as Ten Theses for an Aesthetics of Politics (Minnesota University Press, 2016) and Impressions of Hume: Cinematic Thinking and the Politics of Discontinuity (Rowman and Littlefield, 2013).
